What is proposed?

Licensing Act 2003 - Application for a Major
Variation to a Premises Licence

An application has been made by Heartwood Inns
Ltd for a major variation to a premises licence at
The Ropemaker, 93 Havant Road, Emsworth,
PO10 7LF. The application provides for
rearrangement of the internal layouts, the addition
of late night refreshment until midnight every day,
the removal of certain conditions from the licence
relating to hotel use.
Representations may be made by interested parties
and Responsible Authorities to the licensing
authority at Licensing Service, Public Service
Plaza, Civic Centre Road, Havant, PO9 2AX. Any
representations relating to the application must be
made in writing and received by the Licensing Team
at the above address, or at licensing@havant.gov.
uk by no later than the 11th June 2024.
It is an offence under Section 158 of the Licensing
Act 2003 for anyone to recklessly or knowingly
make a false statement in connection with a
licensing application. The maximum fine on
conviction is unlimited.
