What is proposed?

Notice is hereby given that The Faversham Real Ale Trading Company Ltd (company number 09883884)of The East Quay, The Harbour, Whitstable, Kent, CT5 1AB has applied to Canterbury City Council for the grant of a licence for the supply of alcohol from 12:00pm to 21:00pm on Monday to Sunday, for the premises known as The Dutch Store situated on Horsebridge Road, Whitstable, Kent, CT5 1BU.

A register of licensing applications can be inspected at https://www.canterbury.gov.uk/licences-and-permissions/search-licensing-register or at Council Offices, Military Road, Canterbury, Kent CT1 1YW tel. 01227 862000 by appointment with the Licensing Team between 10am and 4pm Monday to Friday. Any person wishing to submit representations to our application must give notice in writing to the address shown above, giving in detail the grounds of objection by 13 June 2024.

The Council will not entertain representations where the writer requests that his identity remains anonymous. Copies of all representations will be included in the papers presented to the Licensing Panel and will therefore pass into the public domain. Representations must relate to one of the four Licensing Objectives: the prevention of crime and disorder, public safety, the prevention of public nuisance and the protection of children from harm. In the case of an application for a provisional statement, please note that representations will be restricted once a statement has been issued.”
