What is proposed?

LICENSING ACT 2003 - NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR THE GRANT OF A PREMISES LICENCE

Notice is hereby given that MMS Property Lettings Ltd has applied to the Gateshead Council on 14th May 2024 for the grant of a premises licence for The Tynesider, 195 High Street, Gateshead, NE8 1AS which is to trade as a bar and restaurant. The application is as follows:
(1) The supply of alcohol (on/off) to 10:00 to 00:00 Every Day;
(2) Opening Hours 10:00 to 00:30 Every Day;
(3) Regulated Entertainment (live and recorded music and Film) 10:00 to 00:30;
(4) Late Night refreshment 23:00 to 00:30 Every Day; and
(5) Non-standard timings will apply. Conditions and a detailed operating schedule, explaining the style of operation, accompany the application.

Any person who wishes to make a representation in relation to this application must give notice in writing of his/her representation by 11th June 2024, stating the grounds for making said representation to: Licensing Authority, Economy, Innovation and Growth, Gateshead Council, Civic Centre, Regent Street, Gateshead, NE8 1HH or by email licensing@gateshead.gov.uk Current applications’ can be found on the council’s website: www.gateshead.gov.uk The Licensing Authority must receive representations by the date given above. The Licensing Authority will have regard to any such representation in considering the application.

It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. A person is liable to an unlimited fine on conviction should such a false statement be made.
