TO: WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

Lewes District Council do hereby serve notice on 2nd May 2024 that it is our intention to apply to Lewes District Council for a variation of a premises licence to use or permit the use of premises known as The Sidings, Railway Approach, Newhaven, BN9 0DF for the following licensable activities and proposed variation:

 Additional licensable activities and extended hours of opening for: plays, films, live music, recorded music, performance of dance, entertainment of a similar description to music and dance (all activities outdoors)
 Licensed hours of operation for the above activities between 8:00 – 1:00 Monday
to Saturday and 8:00 – 24:00 on Sundays.
 Supply of alcohol between 11:00 – 24:00 Monday through to Sunday (on and off
premises).
 Late night refreshment (outdoors) 23:00 - 1:00 Monday to Saturday and 23:00 – 24:00 on Sundays.
 Removal of the following conditions:
1. Annex 2, (3) (f) Café Bar: Alcohol shall only be supplied by waiter/waitress service to people seated at tables.
2. Annex 2, (3) (g) Substantial food shall be available at all times when the premises is
open and trading.

Any person who desires to make a representation to the variation should send a
brief written statement of the grounds of his/her objection to licensing@lewes-eastbourne.gov.uk or Licensing Team Southover House Southover Road Lewes BN7 1AB no later than midnight on 30th May 2024. The register and records of applications may be viewed at the above council office during normal office hours; summaries are available via www.lewes-eastbourne.gov.uk.
It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application, the maximum penalty for which a person is liable on summary conviction is an unlimited fine.
