What is proposed?

Licensing Act 2003 - Public Notice

I Peter Kenway, on behalf of Rhuddfest Ltd do hereby give notice that I have applied to the Licensing Authority (Denbighshire County Council) for the grant of a Premises Licence at Morfa Lodge Farm, Rhuddlan, Denbighshire, LL18 5UE known as Morfa Lodge Farm.

The application is to: - Accommodate unforeseeable variables in the events industry such as weather conditions and headliner availability for the Music Festival known as Rhuddfest.

The Event/Licence is to be held up to a maximum of twice per year, on any given weekend between 1st of April and the 1st of September.

Monday open hours and licensable activities are to only cover bank holidays. To offer the provision of plays, the exhibition of films, the provision of Live music, the provision of recorded music, and the performance of dance (all of these activities for the provision both indoors and outdoors).

Along with the sale of alcohol (for consumption both on and off the premises): Monday 10:00 - 23:00 Friday 10:00 -00:00 Saturday 10:00 - 00:00 Sunday 10:00 - 23:00.

The provision of Late Night Refreshment (both indoors and outdoors): Friday and Saturday 23:00 - 01:00.

The full application can be inspected by contacting Denbighshire County Council Licensing Authority. Representations can be made between 13/05/2024 to 10/06/2024. Representations received after this date will not be considered. Any person wishing to make representations to this application may do so by writing to the Senior Licensing Officer, Planning Public Protection and Countryside Services, Denbighshire County Council, Caledfryn, Smithfield Road, Denbigh, LL16 3RJ. It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in or in connection with the application and the maximum fine on summary conviction of such an offence is unlimited.
