TO : WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
We RNLI Newhaven Lifeboat Events Team do hereby serve notice on 09/04/2024 that
it is our intention to apply to Lewes District Council for the grant of a new premises licence or club premises certificate to use or permit the use of premises known as Fort Road Recreation Ground, Fort Road, Newhaven. BN9 9DL
for the following licensable activities:
From 11:00 - 22:00
Live Music (outdoors), Recorded Music (outdoors), Performance of Dance (outdoors), Supply of Alcohol (on premises)
Annual Summer Event to be held on Saturday 6th July 2024 between the hours of 11:00 and 22:00 and every year thereafter on the first Saturday of July each year.
Any person who desires to make a representation to the grant, should send a brief written statement of the grounds of his/her objection to licensing@lewes-eastbourne.gov.uk
or Licensing Team Southover House Southover Road Lewes BN7 1AB no later than midnight on 7th May 2024
The register and records of applications may be viewed at the above council office during
normal office hours; summaries are available via
www.lewes-eastbourne.gov.uk.
It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an
application, the maximum penalty for which a person is liable on summary conviction is an
unlimited fine.
