What is proposed?

Notice of application to vary a Premises Licence under
Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003

Notice is hereby given that DNA York Limited in respect
of Premises known as Cut & Craft, 21 – 23 King Edward
Street, Leeds, LS1 6AX, applied to Leeds City Council for
a Variation of a Premises Licence. The proposed variation
is to: 1. Amend the terminal hour for the sale of alcohol (on
and off the premises) on Fridays and Saturdays to end at
01:00 the following morning; 2. Amend the terminal hour
for opening hours and late night refreshment (indoors) on
Fridays and Saturdays to end at 01:30 the following day and
to add an additional hour on the morning British
Summertime commences; 3. Add plays, films, and the
performance of dance (all indoors) to the premises licence
from 09:00 until 23:00 Sunday to Thursday and from 09:00
until 01:00 the following day on Fridays and Saturdays; 4.
Add live music, recorded music and similar activities to live
or recorded music or the performance of dance (all indoors)
to the premises licence from 23:00 until 01:00 the following
day on Fridays and Saturdays; 5. Add additional hours for
all licensable activities and opening hours on New Year's
Eve into New Year's Day; and 6. To add conditions
regarding the presence of SIA security staff and the use of
the external area as detailed in the operating schedule. Full
details can be viewed upon the application form submitted
to the Licensing Authority. Any representations regarding
the above mentioned application must be received in
writing by email to entertainment.licensing@leeds.gov.uk
or by post to Entertainment Licensing, Leeds City Council,
Civic Hall, Leeds, LS1 1UR no later than 9th April 2024
stating the grounds for representation. The register of Leeds
City Council and the record of the application may be
inspected at the address of the council, given above, during
normal business hours or on the council’s website -
www.leeds.gov.uk
It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false
statement in connection with an application. A person is
liable to an unlimited fine on conviction should such a false
statement be made.
