What is proposed?

NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A
PREMISES LICENCE UNDER THE GAMBLING

ACT 2005

Notice is hereby given that Merkur Casino Entertainment
UK Limited of the following address: Second Floor, Matrix
House, North Fourth Street, Milton Keynes, MK9 1NJ are
applying under Section 187 of the Gambling Act 2005 to
vary a Converted Casino Premises Licence issued under
that Act. The application relates to the following premises:
Weedon Road, Northampton, NN5 5BG. The application is
to vary the licence as follows: To relocate the licence from
its existing premises to the premises stated below; Merkur
Casino, Units 16 & 17, Bowen Square, Daventry, NN11
4DR. To update the licence with the plan provided in
support of this application. Following grant of the
application, the licence will remain dormant, will not be
traded and the public not permitted access until such time
as a further variation to the premises licence is completed
and approved. The application has been made to: Licensing
Team, West Northamptonshire Council, The Guildhall, St
Giles Square, Northampton, NN1 1DE. E:

Information about the application is available from the
Licensing Authority, including the arrangements for
viewing the details of the application. Any of the following
persons may make representations in writing to the
Licensing Authority about the application: A person who
lives sufficiently close to the premises to be likely to be
affected by the authorised activities. A person who has
business interests that might be affected by the authorised
activities. A person who represents someone in any of the
above two categories. Any representations must be made
by the following date: 31st March 2024
It is an offence under Section 342 of the Gambling Act
2005 if a person, without reasonable excuse, gives to a
Licensing Authority for a purpose connected with the
Act, information which is false or misleading.
