What is proposed?
Notice of application to vary a Premises Licence under Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003
Notice is hereby given that Disco Bowl Limited in respect of premises known as Nuneaton Bowl, St David’s Way, Nuneaton, CV10 7SD, applied to Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council for a Variation of a Premises Licence. The proposed variation is to add the provision for regulated entertainment (to include recorded music, live music and anything of a similar description) on a Sunday from 11:00 to 01:00 the following morning. To extend the permitted hours for the sale of alcohol on & off the premises on Sunday to Wednesday only from the current hours of Sunday 12:00 to 22:30 and Monday to Wednesday 11:00 to 23:00 to the proposed hours of Sunday to Wednesday11:00 to Midnight. To add the provision for Late Night Refreshment on Sunday to Wednesday from 23:00 to Midnight. All other others to remain unchanged. To add the following non-standard timings to the Premises Licence: “On Christmas Eve, Easter Sunday and all Sunday’s preceding a Bank Holiday Monday the sale of alcohol will be extended to 01:00 and all other licensable activities will be extended to 01:30 the following morning”. “Licensable activities will be extended from the end of the permitted hours on New Year’s Eve to the start of permitted hours on New Year’s Day”. Any representations by an interested party or responsible authority regarding the abovementioned application must be received in writing by the Licensing Section, Nuneaton & Bedworth Borough Council, Town Hall, Coton Road, Nuneaton, CV11 5AA, or by email to licensing@nuneatonandbedworth.gov.uk, no later than 22 March 2024 stating the grounds for objection. The register of Nuneaton & Bedworth Borough Council and the record of the application may be inspected at the address of the council, given above, during normal business hours or on the council’s website – www.nuneatonandbedworth.gov.uk.
It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. The maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is unlimited.
