Notice of application for a Variation to a Premises Licence under Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003

Notice is hereby given that we James Hall & Company Ltd have applied to Westmorland & Furness Council to vary the Premises Licence in respect of premises to be known as: SPAR Stores, Rayrigg Road, Windermere, Bowness, LA23 3DN. The proposed licensable activities are: To update the shop layout plan to include minor shop internal layouts and the entrance door moved further down, To increase the licensable and opening hours between 06:00 - 00:00 (midnight) 7 days a week. To include Late Night Refreshment between the hours of 23:00 - 00:00 7 days a week. Any representations regarding the above mentioned application must be received in writing by Licensing Team Westmorland & Furness Council, South Lakeland House, Lowther Street, Kendal, Cumbria, LA9 4DQ or e-mail licensing@westmorlandandfurness.gov.uk no later than 13th March 2024 stating the grounds for the representation. The register and the record of this application may be inspected at the Westmorland & Furness Council office at the address given above between 10:00 - 16:00. Monday to Friday or on the council's website - www.westmorlandandfurness.gov.uk. It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. A person is liable to an unlimited fine on conviction should such a false statement be made.
