Public Notice of an application to vary a Premises Licence under Section 34 of The Licensing Act 2003
Notice is hereby given that an application was made to Bath & North East Somerset Council for a Premises Licence Variation under the above Act on the 2nd February 2024. Applicant: Wessex Retail Ltd. Address of premises: SPAR Chelsea Road, 6 Chelsea Road, Newbridge, Bath, BA1 3DU. Proposed variations to the licensable activities: Amend the hours for the supply of alcohol. Proposed opening hours & days & hours of licensable activity: Every day opening hours 06.00 to 23.00. The supply of alcohol 06.00 to 23.00. The postal address of the Licensing Authority where the register is kept and the application may be inspected is: * Bath And North East Somerset Council, Licensing Services, Lewis House, Manvers Street, Bath BA1 1JG. Any person wishing to make representations on this matter shall give notice, in writing, stating the nature and grounds for making such representations to The Licensing Officer at the above address* or by email to licensing@bathnes.gov.uk by the 1st March 2024. Any representations made will be disclosed in an open meeting should a hearing be necessary. Notification of the application made to the licensing Authority is available on a register at bathnes.gov.uk/licensing-register.
It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application, and the maximum fine on summary conviction of such an offence is not limited.
