NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR THE VARIATION OF A PREMISES LICENCE
LICENSING ACT 2003

Calverley’s Brewery Limited hereby give notice that we have applied on 25/1/2024 to Cambridge City Council as the Licensing Authority to vary the Premises Licence for the premises known as Calverley’s Brewery of 23A Hooper Street, Cambridge, CB1 2NZ

The variation is to remove the condition that states ‘Customers will not be allowed to take drinks outside of the taproom.’

Also to add the following 2 conditions:

-All staff members including delivery persons are trained to ensure compliance with our age verification policy and responsible alcohol retailing. Alcoholic drinks will be sold in a socially responsible manner.
-Prior to using external delivery companies, you will notify the Cambridge Licensing Officer, for Cambridgeshire Constabulary and provide them with the new company's training policy on selling age restricted products.

Any person who wishes to submit representations in connection with this application should do so, in writing by 22/2/2024 to:
Commercial & Licensing Team, Environmental Services, Cambridge City Council, PO Box 700. Cambridge, CB1 0JH or via the online Licensing Register at www.cambridge.gov.uk/licences

All representations will be published in full, unless you advise that you wish your personal data to be removed prior to publication on the Cambridge City Council website.

It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application, the maximum fine for which on summary conviction is £5,000.
