What is proposed?

Notice is hereby given that L & C Commercial Limited has applied in respect of the Portrait Bar, The Arcadian, 70 Hurst Street, Birmingham, B5 4TD for the grant of a new premises licence (Shadow Licence) under the Licensing Act 2003 to permit the following: Opening Hours Mon – Sun 10:00 – 04:00. Films & indoor sporting events: Mon – Sun 09:00 – 04:00. Live music, recorded music, performances of dance & anything of a similar description to the above: Mon - Sat 11:00 – 04:00, Sun 12:00 - 04:00. Supply of Alcohol (on & off sales): Mon - Sat 10:00 – 04:00, Sun 12:00 - 04:00. Late Night Refreshment: Mon – Sun 23:00 – 04:00. This licence is a shadow licence and not for operation of the premises unless and until the condition is removed. This condition can be removed administratively on 7 days’ notice to West Midlands Police and Birmingham City Council. Please refer to the full application for all conditions and the plan. Representations to this application must be made in writing, by midnight 6 February 2024.

It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with this application. Persons will be liable on summary conviction to an unlimited fine.
