What is proposed?

LICENSING ACT 2003

Application for a Variation of a Premises Licence I/We STARLANE CAFE & BAR LTD have applied to NEWHAM COUNCIL to vary the premises licence for: STARLANE PIZZA BAR, 12 CODY ROAD, LONDON E16 4SR So as the following licensable activities may be provided on the following days and hours: To extend licensable activities until 06:00 hours the days following Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays preceding bank holidays, To extend the hours the premises are open to the public until 06:30 hours the days following Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays preceding bank holidays. To amend condition 12, annex 2, to state the following: "there shall be no new admissions or re-admissions to the premises after 03:00 hours on Friday and Saturday when the premises are open past midnight, every time they hold a music event operating under a ten; and on Sundays preceding bank holidays when they are operating under the non-standard timings on the licence." Newham Council's Licensing Register is kept at the office of the Licensing Team, East Ham Town Hall, Barking Road, London E6 2RP (open 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday), 020 3373 1925, where details of the application may be inspected.

Any representations against the application must be made in writing and received by the Licensing Team at the above address or via our website https://www.newham. gov.uk/Pages/Services/Premises-alcohol-and-entertainment-licence.aspx no later than the: 02/01/2024. Individuals, businesses and other bodies may make representations in relation to the application. Representations must be relevant and can only be based upon the Licensing Objectives, the prevention of crime and disorder, public safety, the prevention of public nuisance, and the protection of children from harm. Copies of all representations will be sent to the applicant. Persons making representations will have to appear at the Councils' Licensing Sub-Committee. Note, It is an offence, liable on conviction to a fine up to £5,000 for an applicant to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with the application.
