What is proposed?

NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A VARIATION OF A PREMISES LICENCE

Notice is hereby given that We, Spirit Pub Company (Services) Limited have applied to Runnymede Borough Council on 24th November 2023 for a variation to a premises licence to use the premises at: 
The Wheatsheaf, London Road, Virginia Water, Surrey, GU25 4QF. To vary the licensing plan for a full internal and external refurbishment including demolition of the existing conservatory, new main entrance porch and lobby. Alterations to WC’s. External garden enhancement works including external bar for the sale and consumption of alcohol. For full and further details please view the licensing plan and application form. 

Any part of the variation application that changes the plan/layout at the premises to be of no effect until the work has been completed. Any person who wishes to make a representation in relation to this application must give notice in writing of his/her representation by 22nd December 2023 stating the grounds for making said representation to The Licensing Manager, Runnymede Borough Council, Civic Centre, Station Road, Addlestone, Surrey, KT15 2AH or by email to licensing@runnymede.gov.uk. 

The application may be view at the offices of Runnymede Borough Council, Civic Centre, Station Road, Addlestone, Surrey, KT15 2AH between the hours of 10.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday or online at www.runnymede.gov.uk/licensing. The Licensing Authority must receive representations by the date given above. 

The Licensing Authority will have regard to any such representation in considering the application. It is an offence, under section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003, to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in or in connection with an application for premises licence and the maximum fine on summary conviction is unlimited.
