APPLICATION FOR A NEW PREMISES LICENCE
Notice is given that CANARY WHARF ARTS + EVENTS has made an application to London Borough of Tower Hamlets Licensing Authority for a new Premises Licence under the Licensing Act 2003 in respect of the following areas within the Canary Wharf estate, E14:
Canada Square Park, Adams Place, Crossrail -1 Quayside, Crossrail Place Roof Garden, Cabot Square, Cubitt Steps, Columbus Courtyard, Jubilee Park, Montgomery Square, Canary Riverside, Westferry Circus, Reuters Plaza, Middle Dock, Wren Landing, 10 Bank Street Park, Union Square, Harbord Square, Water Street and Harbour Quay Gardens.
All these spaces are outdoor public spaces within the private Canary Wharf Estate.
Dates between 1 January - 31 December 2024.
Music: sporadically within 11am - 11pm weekdays and 10am 11pm weekends,
Theatre/Plays: sporadically within 11am - 10.30pm weekdays and 10am 10.30pm weekends,
Films: sporadically within 11am 11pm weekdays and 10am -11pm weekends,
Recorded Music: sporadically within 11am - 11pm weekdays and 10am 11pm weekends,
Dance: sporadically within 11am-9pm.
Anyone who wishes to make representations regarding this application must give notice in writing to: Licensing Team, Environmental Health & Trading Standards, Tower Hamlets, 160 Whitechapel Road, London E1 1BJ. Applications may be viewed Monday to Friday (except on Bank Holidays) between 10am to 4pm. The date by which interested parties or responsible authorities may make representations to the relevant Licensing Authority against this application is 4 December 2023. Any representations made must be made in writing or submitted by email.
Take note that it is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application and the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction is Level 5 on the standard scale of fines (£5,000).
