What is proposed?

To whom it may concern Slicks Sports and Bars (Worthing) Ltd Does hereby give notice that on 29 September 2023 served application on the Licensing Authority, Worthing Borough Council, and the relevant authorities for a variation to the premises licence at: ‘Slicks Sports & Bars’ 19 - 23 South Street, Worthing, BN11 3AW. The premises licence authorises the sale of alcohol, the provision of regulated entertainment and late night refreshment. The applications seeks to authorise: 1. An extension of the licensed area on the ground floor to incorporate a 12 hole indoor crazy golf course.
2. Amendment of the following conditions of licence: Condition 14 which states: All children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Condition 15 which states: No persons under 18 years of age shall be allowed in the premises after 22:00hrs.
To allow: Children under 16 years of age to be allowed in the premises until 19:00hrs without an adult and until 22:00hrs with an adult 16 and 17-year-olds to be allowed on the premises until 22:00hrs without an adult. No other changes are proposed.
Any person who desires to make objection to the said grant should set out, in writing, a brief statement of the grounds of his/her objection and send to : licensing.unit@adur-worthing.gov.uk Or post to The Licensing Unit, Adur & Worthing Councils Town Hall, Chapel Road, Worthing, BN11 1HS. Representations must reach the Licensing Unit no later than: 28 November 2023. The application may be viewed, in full, at the above offices between the hours of 9.00am and 4.00pm Monday to Friday or details found at: https://www.adurworthing.gov.uk/licensingconsultations/licensing-act-2003/#applications-worthing . Information as to the date of any hearing required to determine the application may be obtained from the Adur & Worthing Councils’ Licensing Unit. It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application and the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is £5,000
