We Gloucestershire County Cricket Club Limited of The
County Ground Nevil Road Bristol BS7 9EJ
We have submitted an application for the grant of a
premises licence to Bristol City Council, Licensing Authority
100 Temple Street, Bristol BS1 6AG. The record of the
application may also be inspected at this address between
9.00 am and 5.00 pm Monday - Friday, with the exception
of Wednesday when the opening hours are 10.00 am
and 5.00 pm or on the Council's website at www.bristol.
gov.uk.
Details of application: if this application is granted the
current day-to-day premises license will be surrendered.
The hours and activities sought are the same as existing.
The main changes sought can be seen in detail on the
councils online licensing register but in summary:
1) remove current restrictions on external alcohol sales
2) allow some limited external live music
3) extend the currently permitted external recorded music
4) accommodate the creation of an external terrace with
small bar at first floor level of the pavilion.
Sale of alcohol, live and recorded music, performance
of dance, and anything similar to live or recorded music
10.00 -23.00 Sunday to Thursday, 10.00 - 23.45 Friday and
Saturday. Late night refreshment 23.00-23.30 Sunday to
Thursday and 23.00 - 23.45 Friday and Saturday. Opening
hours 10.00- 23.30 Sunday to Thursday and 10.00 - 00.15
the morning following Friday and Saturday. Non standard
timings from the end of licensable activity on New Years
Eve to the start of licensable activity on New Years Day.
Relevant persons and responsible authorities may make
written representation to the relevant Licensing Authority
by 15th November 2023 such representation shall be made
in writing to Licensing Team(100TS) PO BOX 3399 Bristol
BS1 9NE or via email:
licensing@bristol.gov.uk
It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false
statement in connection with an application and the
maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary
conviction for the offence is an unlimited fine.
