What is proposed?
Notice of application to vary a Premises Licence under Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003
Notice is hereby given that Mecca Bingo Limited has applied to Thanet District Council for a variation of the premises licence in respect of premises known as Mecca Bingo Club, Unit 46 Westwood Cross, Margate Road, Broadstairs, Kent, CT10 2BF.
To seek approval of the plan submitted with the application to make the following alterations:- Removal of wall between foyer and amusements, retaining a section of wall at one metre high where the swipe post will be located. New machines layout including carousels.
Any representations by an interested party or responsible authority regarding the above mentioned application must be received in writing by Licensing Team, Thanet District Council, PO Box 9, Cecil Street, Margate, Kent, CT9 1XZ - licensing@thanet.gov.uk no later than 12 October 2023 stating the grounds for objection. It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. The maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is unlimited.
