48-58 East Street - Application for a Variation to the Premises Licence
What is proposed?
Notice is hereby given that Bloomsbury Leisure Holdings Limited has applied in respect of the 48-58 East Street Bedminster Bristol BS3 4HD for a variation to the premises licence under the Licensing Act 2003 to allow for:
This is an application in 2 parts:
1. Change of name from ‘Spikee’ to ‘Thump’
2.Variation of internal layout as set out in the attached plan.
The main changes to layout are:
1. Significant Reduction in area for licensable activities;
2. Move bar;
3. Reconfigure Tortilla chip line (non licensable) and licensable area;
4. Include the external areas marked on the plan within the licensable area to allow for consumption of alcohol (no intention to amend conditions relating to their use).
The opening hours and licensable activities authorised by the premises licence are to remain unchanged. Representations to this appli - cation must be made in writing, by the end of 4 October 2023, to the Bristol City Council Licensing Authority at Licensing Team (100TS), PO Box 3399, Bristol BS1 9NE or licensing@bristol.gov.uk.
The register of licensing applications can be viewed at Bristol City Council Licensing Authority, 100 Temple Street, Bristol, BS1 6AG between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday, with the exception of Wednesday when the opening hours are 10am to 5pm or on the Council’s website at www.bristol.gov.uk/business/licences-andpermits/licensing-act-2003
It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with this application. Persons will be liable on summary conviction to an unlimited fine.
