Notice of Application for Grant/ Variation of Premises Licence/ Club Premises Certificate
Take notice that I, Joseph Belibi, General Manager have applied to Calderdale Metropolitan Borough Council under the Licensing Act 2003, for the grant/ variation of a premises licence/ club premises certificate in respect of the premises known as The Shakespeare Deluxe Hotel, 3 Horton Street, Halifax, HX1 1PU for licence of the sale of alcohol and playing recorded and live music from 7am -11pm Monday to Sunday. Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, 7am – 1am.
Interested parties and responsible authorities may make representations regarding the application where they believe that the proposed activities would undermine any of the four licencing objectives. Applications may be viewed on our Public Register, at www.calderdale.gov.uk . Any representations must be submitted in writing to the Registration and Licensing Manager, Calderdale Metropolitan Borough Council, Town Hall, Crossley Street, Halifax, HX1 1UJ by 24/08/2023. Persons wishing to inspect the Licensing Register may do so by appointment at the above address during normal office hours. It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application and on summary conviction would be liable to a fine not exceeding £5000.
