What is proposed?

Notice of an Application for the Grant of aPremises Licence (Licensing Act 2003)

Notice is hereby given that Daniel Brian Daly and Nicola Chantelle Dalyhas applied to Ashford Borough Council for the GRANT of PREMISES LICENCE for Supply of alcohol on and off premises between 11.00am and 5.00pm daily for the premises Peggotty’s Tea Shoppe situated at 122 High Street, Tenterden, Kent, TN30 6HT.

A register of licensing applications can be viewed at the Licensing Section, Ashford Borough Council, Civic Centre, Tannery Lane, Ashford, Kent, TN23 1PL, 01233 331111 by appointment.

Any person wishing to submit representations to this application must give notice in writing to the address shown above, giving in detail the grounds of objection by 12th July 2023.

The Council will not entertain representations where the writer requests that his identity remains anonymous. Copies of all representations will be included in the papers presented to the Licensing Panel and will therefore pass into the public domain.
Representations must relate to one or more of the four Licensing Objectives: THE PREVENTION OF CRIME AND DISORDER, PUBLIC SAFETY, THE PREVENTION OF PUBLIC NUISANCE AND THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN FROM HARM.

It is an offence, liable on conviction to a fine up to level 5 on the standard scale (£5000), under Section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003 to make a false statement in or in connection with this application.
