What is proposed?

A new premises licence application has been made by
Newgate Pubs & Bars Company Limited to licence the
following premises – Mayfair Pub & Kitchen, Unit 5 Civic
Cultural Quarter, Sir Nigel Gresley Square, Doncaster,
DN1 3BU. The proposed application is to apply to carry out
the following activities – Sale of Alcohol (on and off) /
Plays / Films / Indoor Sporting Events / Live Music /
Recorded Music / Performance of Dance / Boxing and
Wrestling / Anything similar to the above and Late Night
Refreshment. Seasonal Variations and Conditions will
apply. The proposed hours to carry out the above activities
are: the sale of alcohol 09.00 to 01.30 daily, the opening
hours and the timings for plays, films, indoor sporting
events, live music, recorded music, performance of dance,
boxing and wrestling, anything similar will be 09.00 to
02.00 daily. Late night refreshment is applied 23.00 to
02.00 daily. The postal address of the relevant licensing
authority is set out below and a record of the application
may be inspected there during normal office hours. Anyone
who wishes to make representations regarding this
application must give notice in writing to The Licensing
Department, Doncaster Council, The Civic Offices,
Waterdale, Doncaster, DN1 3BU. Written representations
must be received no later than 5th July 2023.
It is an offence for anyone to knowingly or recklessly make
a false statement in connection with an application and the
maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary
conviction for the offence is unlimited.
