What is proposed?

Licensing Act 2003: Full Variation of a Premises Licence

Notice is hereby given that McMullen & Sons Limited has applied to East Herts District Council on 21 February 2023 to vary the premises licence for:

The Dog and Whistle, Fore Street, Hertford, SG14 1AB
- To vary the licence to amend the current trading area
- To vary the opening hours from 10:00 to 02:00 on Friday, Saturday, Bank Holidays and the Sundays before Bank Holidays
- To vary the hours for the sale of alcohol and live and recorded music indoors from 10:00 to 01:30 on the above days
- To permit recorded and live music in the outside area from 12:00 to 00:00 on the above days

Any person who wishes to make a representation in relation to this application must give notice in writing of his/her representation by 21 March 2023, stating the grounds for making said representation to: Licencing Department, East Herts District Council, Wallfields, Pegs Lane, Hertford, SG13 8EQ.

The public register where applications are available to be viewed by members of the public can be accessed online by visiting at www.eastherts.gov.uk and following the links to the public register.

The Licensing Authority must receive representations by the date given above. The Licensing Authority will have regard to any such representation in considering the application. It is an offence, under section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003, to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in or in connection with an application for premises licence and the maximum fine on being convicted of such an offence is £5000.
