Here at publicnoticeportal.uk we have been working hard to ensure all public notices are available to the public in one place online, as well as in printed local newspapers, ensuring residents can continue to access important information about their local community.
Our award winning website, developed with funding from the Google News Initiative, has grown and attracted more than 3 million users since it went live. As part of a new round of additional development for Public Notice Portal, we have launched a new consultation function to facilitate public feedback on public notices.
To get access to the feedback given on your notices we need you to request a login which you can then use to access all of the feedback on your notices.
For more information on this please see below:
Our ‘soft launch’ of Public Notice Consultancy went live in December 2025. The full functionality launched in March 2026.
To get access to the feedback given on your notices we need you to request a login which you will then be able to use to access all of the feedback on your notices.
Anyone from a Local Authority will be able to request a login . We will send an email to the email addresses we already have for the Local Authority to ask them to verify that the requester is allowed access. Once we receive confirmation that this is OK, we will issue the requester their own login.

As well as the Public Notice Portal team, only verified individuals from Local Authorities will be able to be sent feedback on public notices in their Local Authority. We are not planning to make feedback on individual notices public, either via the Public Notice Portal website or any other means.
For launch we won’t be able to facilitate this, however we want to work collaboratively with Local Authorities to provide a useful service, so all requests for features/ functionality will be considered for addition to a future development phase.

The easiest way for us to organise feedback is via reference number so please always try to add reference numbers where possible.
We do still collect feedback on notices and parts of notices which don’t contain reference numbers. Use the free text search functionality on your list in order to search for things like road name, or a part of the notice title, to help find your feedback.
Please see our Privacy Policy which is always kept up to date.
Access to your feedback is completely free.
The ability to upload additional files and add links to your notices is a paid service, however for launch we are issuing all Local Authorities with a code to enable you to access this service for free. If you don’t already have a code, please email support@publicnoticeportal.uk .
