Temporary Closure of Allerford Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Allerford Road - from outside The Allerford Inn, north-westwards for a total distance of 74 metres. This Order will enable National Rail to carry out track maintenance works on the level crossing.
The Order becomes effective on 21st May 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 30th May 2026 and last until 31st May 2026 between the hours of 23:45 - 08:00 for a total of 1 night.
