Coombes Moor, Temporary Road Closure Due To Wall Rebuild Works
What is happening?
Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: B4362 From Combe Corner To Wapley Lane, Coombes Moor, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the B4362 From Combe Corner To Wapley Lane, Coombes Moor, 50 metres either side of Hindwell Brook. Grid Ref: 334527/263436.
The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the B4362 onto the the B4355, onto the A44, onto the A4110, onto the B4362 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to parapet wall rebuild works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 16th February 2026 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 2 weeks.
