What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
UNNAMED FOOTPATH FROM EREWASH SQUARE TO POWTRELL PLACE, ILKESTON
WHEN: 22 January to 26 January 2026 (00:00 to 23:59)
WHERE: Unnamed Footpath from Erewash Square to Powtrell Place, Ilkeston outside No.45.
REASON: To facilitate the installation of telecoms equipment.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Powtrell Place, Erewash Drive and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
