OXFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

(WOODSTOCK, LONG HANBOROUGH & CHARLBURY, VARIOUS ROADS) (MAP BASED) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND PERMITTED PARKING) (VARIATION NO.*) ORDER 20

NOTICE is given that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the order — as a result of obstructive and inappropriate parking — is to introduce new parking restrictions in the form of

‘No Waiting at Any Time’ (Double Yellow Lines) in Woodstock as follows:

  1. Cadogan Park (Both sides) — from the existing DYLs north of the service road, to its junction with Princes Ride, including that section serving property Nos.5-21,

  2. Crecy Walk (Both sides) — from its junction with Cadogan Park, southwards for approx. 12.5 metres,

  3. Oxford Road service road (North side) — various lengths (10 in total) replacing the existing ‘White Access Protection’ markings across the accesses to residential properties,

  4. Park Side (Both sides) — from its junction with Cadogan Park, northwards for approx. 10 metres.

The Oxfordshire County Council (Woodstock, Various Roads) (Map Based) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Permitted Parking) Order 2023 will be further amended as necessary, updating Map Tiles: ‘D053’ & ‘DP53’ in the process.

Documents giving more details of the proposals are available for public inspection online by visiting https://letstalk.oxfordshire.gov.uk. Copies may also be made available on request.

Objections to the proposals and other representations specifying the grounds on which they are made may be sent in writing to the address below by the end of 12 December 2025. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes if made available to the public.
