Stroud,Temporary Road & Footpath Restrictions Due To Various Works
What is happening?
GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION (NO WAITING, NO STOPPING, NO LOADING)
VARIOUS ROADS (CAM PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily restrict part of the roads as described in the schedule below.

No person shall stop nor wait nor load or unload or cause anyone to stop or wait or load or unload along the Road throughout the duration of the said works.
The said road is expected to be restricted from 17th November 2025 to 21st November 2025 or until the works have been completed. However, if the works are not completed by this date the Order can, if required, be extended for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

Alternative Route – as signed on site. Pedestrian access to premises on or next to the road, and emergency access, will be maintained.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH OHA 45 (HAMFALLOW PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT
NOTICE is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport has extended the Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) the unrecorded part of Public Footpath OHA 45 at a point 150 metres north west from its junction with A38 extending in a generally westerly direction for 20 metres.
The said public footpath falls within Hamfallow Parish in Stroud District, within the County of Gloucestershire.
The said closure is necessary to safeguard the public whilst works for the relocation of a crossing are undertaken.
This temporary closure Order came into force on the 9th May 2025 and was expected to end on the 9th November 2025. However, the works have still not been completed, and therefore the Secretary of State has granted an extension until 9th May 2027 or until the works are complete, whichever is earliest.
Alternative Route – STINCHCOMBE FOOTPATH 6 (CST6) – as indicated on the Map by a dash black line marked A to B. Emergency access and pedestrian access to adjoining properties will be maintained.
