What is happening?

Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough has made an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2025 – Uffington Road, Barnack Ref: 26-194
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Uffington Road, Barnack, as lies between The Orchard and the sewerage works. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: B1443, Tallington Road, Bainton Road, A1175, Barnack Road and vice versa.
The proposed order will come into force on the 17/11/2025 and will continue until the new duct installation works have been completed or until the 16/11/2026, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between 08:00 and 18:00 from the 17/11/2025 to the 20/11/2025. Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough intends in not
less than seven days to make an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2025 – Fletton Parkway Ref: 26-203
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Fletton Parkway, junction 1 eastbound on slip for it’s entire length. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Fletton Parkway J1 roundabout, Fletton Parkway westbound, A1(M) J17, Fletton Parkway eastbound.
The proposed order will come into force on the 24/11/2025 and will continue until the cut and patch works have been completed or until the 23/11/2026, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between 20:00 and 06:00 on the 24/11/2025 and the 25/11/2025. The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2025 – Stamford Road, Pilsgate Ref: 26-204
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Stamford Road, Pilsgate, as lies between 8 Stamford Road and Pilsgate Farm access. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: B1443, B1081, A1, A47, A47 J17, A47 A15 Link Road, A15, B1443 and vice versa.
The proposed order will come into force on the 24/11/2025 and will continue until the excavation and duct installation works have been completed or until the 23/11/2026, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between 08:00 and 18:00 from the 24/11/2025 to the 26/11/2025. The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Pudding Bag Lane, Pilsgate, as lies between side of 8 Stamford Road and 1 Pudding Bag Lane. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: none available. The proposed order will come into force on the 25/11/2025 and will continue until the excavation and duct installation works have been completed or until the 24/11/2026, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between 08:00 and 18:00 from the 25/11/2025 to the 27/11/2025. The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Lattimers Paddock, Pilsgate, for it’s entire length.
The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: none available. The proposed order will come into force on the 26/11/2025 and will continue until the excavation and duct installation works have been completed or until the 25/11/2026, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between 08:00 and 18:00 from the 26/11/2025 to the 01/12/2025. The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2025 – Willow Drove Ref: 26-207
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road
known as Willow Drove, at Bull Bridge Farm. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. There is no alternative route for vehicles affected by this order, access will be maintained to affected properties.
The proposed order will come into force on the 24/11/2025 and will continue until the stoptap replacement works have been completed or until the 23/11/2026, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 24/11/2025 and the 26/11/2025.
