U55K Kirkton of Durris - Temporary Closure to Vehicular Traffic
What is happening?
ABERDEENSHIRE COUNCIL
U55K – TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
“The Aberdeenshire Council (U55K Kirkton of Durris - 17.11.25) (Temporary Closure to Vehicular Traffic) Order, 2025” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.
The order will operate from 17.11.25 for 17 days and will prohibit any person from driving on the U55K from the B9077 Kirkton of Durris to the U47K Crossroads.
Access will be provided for emergency and vehicles requiring access to properties but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of construction plant to allow safe passage through the works.
The temporary restriction is necessary in the interests of public safety during ground investigation works. An alternative route for traffic is available via the U47K – B9077 and vice versa.
