What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 THE COUNTY OF DEVON (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION) (HIGH STREET, ILFRACOMBE) ORDER 2025

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING/LOADING & UNLOADING

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council intends to make the above titled order. From 9/12/25 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 15/12/25. No person shall except upon the direction or with permission of a Police Officer in uniform or of a Civil Enforcement Officer cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load & unload at any time on any day on any of the lengths of road specified above.

Roads affected: HIGH STREET, ILFRACOMBE THERE IS NO ALTERNATIVE ROUTE. This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: PROVIDE NEW WATER CONNECTION.

(LONG LANE, APPLEDORE) ORDER 2025 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order. From 17/11/25 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 5/12/25. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections of Affected Roads.

Roads affected: LONG LANE, APPLEDORE, JUNCTION TORRIDGE ROAD TO JUNCTION BROAD LANE The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - TORRIDGE ROAD, TORRIDGE ROAD TO THE QUAY, THE QUAY, MARINE PARADE, MYRTLE STREET, RICHMOND ROAD, CHURCHILL WAY, BROAD LANE, VICE VERSA.

(NORTH DEVON LINK ROAD, SOUTH MOLTON) ORDER 2025 TEMPORARY 30MPH SPEED LIMIT

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council intends to make the above titled order. From 11/12/25 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 20/7/26. NORTH DEVON LINK RD, SOUTH MOLTON Eastbound from 300 metres countdown marker to Ackland Road overbridge & Westbound from Ackland Rd overbridge to Authorised Vehicles only layby No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed at a speed greater than 30 miles per hour on the sections of Affected Roads when temporary traffic signing is in place.

Roads affected - BLAKES HILL RD TO LANDKEY ROUNDABOUT, SOUTH MOLTON 30 metres from entrance to Landkey Roundabout No person shall proceed on the sections of Affected Paths except for access to land or premises on or adjacent to those lengths of paths Footpath affected - UNDESIGNATED FOOTBRIDGE 30 metres WEST OF LANDKEY ROUNDABOUT ACROSS A361

Roads affected: BOUTPORT STREET, BARNSTAPLE, (FROM OUTSIDE 36 TO OUTSIDE 39) The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - CLOCKWISE DIVERSION BOUTPORT STREET, BEAR STREET, ALEXANDRA ROAD, ROAD FROM ALEXANDRA ROAD TO VICTORIA ROAD, BELLE MEADOW ROAD, QUEEN STREET, BOUTPORT STREET ANTI CLOCKWISE DIVERSION BOUTPORT STREET, QUEEN STREET, BELLE MEADOW ROAD, ALEXANDRA ROAD, GAYDON STREET, VICARAGE STREET, BOUTPORT STREET.

The One Way system on the Affected Road will be suspended. Roads affected: BOUTPORT STREET, BARNSTAPLE, (FROM OUTSIDE 39 to 31). TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order. From 7/11/25 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 10/11/25. Between the hours of 07:30 & 18:00. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections of Affected Roads.

Roads affected: BICKINGTON CROSS TO SHEEPWASH HILL, SOUTH MOLTON The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - ROAD FROM BICKINGCOTT CROSS TO THE MANOR HOUSE, ROAD FROM LATCHGATE CROSS TO ABBOTS CROSS, ROAD FROM WOODS CROSS TO ABBOTS CROSS, ROAD FROM WOODS CROSS TO SHEEPWASH CROSS & VICE VERSA.
