Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1),45, 46, 49, 53, and Parts IV and III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).
Effect of the order: To Revoke: Limited Waiting Mon-Sat 9am-6pm 2hrs No Return Within 4hrs, To Extend: No Waiting at Any Time Restriction’

B186 Warley Hill - West Side: From a Point approximately 2 metres north of the boundary of 65 and 67 Warley Hill south for approximately 5 metres
This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Brentwood Borough) (Prohibition Of Waiting, Loading And Stopping) And (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019’ by substituting map tile: TQ590 927 Revision 2 to Revision 3

(Chelmsford City) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No.71) (Part I) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 47, 49, 53, and Part IV and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).
Effect of the order: To implement ‘24hr Clearway’ Restrictions,
Road - Description
Beaulieu Park Station Approach, Boreham - Both Sides: From its junction with Beaulieu Parkway Roundabout for its entire length, to its junction with The Avenue.
Generals Lane, Boreham - Both Sides: From its junction with Beaulieu Park Station Approach northwest for approximately 83 metres.
The Avenue, Boreham, and Chelmsford Garden - Both Sides: From a point approximately 5 metres east of its junction with White Hart Lane to a point approximately 9 metres north of its junction with Beaulieu Park Station Approach.
This Order will be incorporated into ‘The Essex County Council (Chelmsford City) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019’ by substituting Map Tiles:

Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
(Footpath 85, Chelmsford) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 85, Chelmsford in the City of Chelmsford, from a point approximately 35 metres north of Duke Street, for approximately 75 metres north.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 5 November 2025 to 13 May 2026 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while permissions and contractor are appointed for the upgrade of footpath.
The alternative route will be via Duke Street, Church Lane, Cottage Place and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 5 November 2025 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Moor Hall Lane, Bicknacre) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Moor Hall Lane, Bicknacre in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with Bicknacre Road for a distance of approximately 295m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th December 2025 for 9 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP003S50-2988 – Capital Road Safety). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new water connection works are undertaken by Capital Road Safety.
An alternative route is available via Moor Hall Lane, Bicknacre Road, Priory Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 20th November 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Bell Street, Great Baddow) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Suspension of One Way Restriction) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order
1. To temporarily close that length of Bell Street, Great Baddow in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with High Street for a distance of approximately 50m in a north easterly then north westerly direction.
2. To temporarily suspend the one way in that length of Bell Street, Chelmsford in the City of Chelmsford as cited in “The Essex County Council (Prohibition of Driving, Length Restriction and One Way) Order 1976” for the duration of the above closure only.
The closure/restriction is scheduled to commence on 24th November 2025 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ7011001450809 – Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure/restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Cadent.
An alternative route is available via High Street, Pump Hill and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 6th November 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(East Hanningfield Road, Sandon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of East Hanningfield Road, Sandon in the City of Chelmsford, from a point approximately 165m north west of its junction with Southlands Chase for a distance of approximately 40m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 25th November 2025 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30021701666 – UK Power Networks).
The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new supply works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via East Hanningfield Road, Southend Road, Main Road, Rettendon Road, Main Road, The Tye, The Common, East Hanningfield Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 6th November 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Regis Grange Road, Hatfield Broad Oak) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Regis Grange Road, Hatfield Broad Oak in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 70m south east of its junction with Green Street for a distance of approximately 150m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 4th December 2025 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411002WG0R2F4G – Openreach).
The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Regis Grange Road, Green Street, Dunmow Road, Cannons Common and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 6th November 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Moulsham Hall Lane, Great and Little Leighs & Main Road, Felsted) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Moulsham Hall Lane, Great and Little Leighs in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with Gt Leighs Bypass Roundabout for a distance of approximately 1285m in a north westerly direction.
2. To temporarily close that length of Main Road, Felsted in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 1285m north west of its junction with Gt Leighs Bypass Roundabout for a distance of approximately 115m in a north westerly direction.
The closures are scheduled to commence on 24th November 2025 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2387058D & EP201EH2396203 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Main Road, Crix Green Road, Frenches Green Road, Rayne Road, Braintree Road, B1417, B1008, A131, Gt Leighs Bypass and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 6th November 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Writtle Road, Margaretting) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Writtle Road, Margaretting in the City of Chelmsford, from a point approximately 525m north east of its junction with Ivy Barn Lane for a distance of approximately 50m in a north easterly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th November 2025 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30021703717 – UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while an upgrade of supply works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Writtle Road, Margaretting Road, A414, Writtle Bypass Roundabout, A414, B1002, Wantz Road, Margaretting Bypass, Writtle Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 6th November 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
