THE MIDLOTHIAN COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS) (PROHIBITION
AND RESTRICTION ON WAITING, LOADING AND UNLOADING ETC)
(VARIATION NO _) ORDER 202 - TO/R5.3.168
The Council proposes to make an Order to apply double yellow line (all day)
restrictions at the junction of Cairnbank Road and Broomhill Road in Penicuik.
THE MIDLOTHIAN COUNCIL (A6106 MILLERHILL ROAD) (40 MPH SPEED
LIMIT) ORDER 202 - TO/R5.3.169
The Council proposes to reduce the speed limit on a section of Millerhill
Road, Danderhall from 60 mph to 40 mph.
THE MIDLOTHIAN COUNCIL (URBAN 20 MPH SPEED LIMITS)
(VARIATION NO _) ORDER 202 - TO/R5.3.171
The Council proposes to update the ‘Urban 20 mph Speed Limits Order 2025’ (TO/R5.3.123) to correct errors and omissions identified when the Order was implemented.
THE MIDLOTHIAN COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS) (PROHIBITION

The Council proposes to make an Order to apply short lengths of double
yellow line (all day) restrictions on Sherwood Crescent, Bonnyrigg to protect
the existing pedestrian crossing point near Sherwood Avenue.

Anyone wishing to object to any of these Orders should send details of
their grounds of objection in writing, quoting the relevant reference, to: The
Legal Services Manager, Midlothian Council, Fairfield House, 8 Lothian Road,
Dalkeith EH22 3AA or to legal@midlothian.gov.uk , to arrive not later than
5 December 2025.
THE MIDLOTHIAN COUNCIL (B7003 ROSLIN GLEN) (TEMPORARY
FOOTWAY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025 - TTRO/R 5.4.303
Notice is hereby given that Midlothian Council has made an Order under
Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect
of which is that for a temporary period to facilitate footway resurfacing works, B7003 Roslin Glen footway will be closed from A6094 to Core Path 33a. The Order has effect on 24 November 2025 and shall remain in force up to and including 7 December 2025. There will be no alternative route for pedestrian access. General vehicular traffic will not be affected.
