(THTTC3966 HAYES PARK ROAD, MIDSOMER NORTON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Hayes Park Road, Midsomer Norton from its junction with St John’s Crescent extending west to a point outside 50 Hayes Park Road. USRN: 47903295.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road for crane electricity sub-station works by National Grid on the 2nd December 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for ONE DAY between 08:00 - 16:30hrs.

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of B3355 Winterfield Road, Paulton from its junction with Alexandra Park extending north west to its junction with Ham Lane. This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Openreach to carry pole replacement works on the 30th November 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for ONE DAY between 09:30 - 15:30hrs.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable National Grid to carry out overhead works for reconductoring on the 2nd December 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the footpath to enable Openreach engineers to access underground structure to provide fibre underground cabling on the 19th November 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for ONE DAY between 09:30 - 15:30hrs.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Wales & West Utilities to alter and relay gas service for customer from the 18th November 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for FOUR DAYS. Access will be maintained for residents.
