DYMA HYSBYSIAD bod Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Rhondda Cynon Taf wedi gwneud Gorchymyn o dan Adran 14 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984, fel y’i diwygiwyd gan Ddeddf Traffig Ffyrdd (Cyfyngiadau Dros Dro) 1991, a fydd yn para deunaw mis ar y mwyaf.
Rhaid cau’r ffordd er mwyn gosod stoptap newydd ar gyfer y gwasanaeth dŵr presennol.

Effaith y Gorchymyn fydd cau Heol Abercynon, Glyn-coch, o bwynt sydd 150 metr i’r gogledd o’i chyffordd â’r Gelli, i gyfeiriad y gogledd am bellter o 100 metr.

RHONDDA CYNON TAFF COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL
(ABERCYNON ROAD, GLYNCOCH) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council have made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, which will have a maximum duration of eighteen months.

The closure is necessary to facilitate the installation of a stop tap on the existing water service.
Temporary Road Closure:

The effect of the Order will be to close Abercynon Road, Glyncoch – from a point 150 metres north of its junction with the Grove, generally northwards for a distance of 100 metres.

Alternative Routes:
From the North side of the closure, proceed via Abercynon Road, Park Street, Aberdare Road, Mountain Ash Road, Ynysmeurig Road (B4275), A4054, A470, Bridge Street (A4223), Berw Road (B4273), Ynysybwl Road (B4273) and Abercynon Road.

From the South side of the closure, proceed via Abercynon Road, Ynysybwl Road (B4273), Berw Road (B4273), Bridge Street (A4223), A470, Abercynon Northbound Slip off Road, Ynysmeurig Road (B4275), Station Road, Margaret Street, Edward Street, Ynysmeurig Road, Mountain Ash Road, Aberdare Road, Park Street and Abercynon Road.

Access will be maintained for emergency services, pedestrians and to premises.

The closure is expected to be in operation between the following dates and times, or until such time as the works has been completed: -

• Full closure 17th November – 19th November 2025
