What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –SECTION 14
(FOOTPATH 10, WHARFEDALE DRIVE, NORMANTON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE) ORDER (NO 361) 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield by reason of works to allow for installation of drainage and to set up a compound to be carried out on or near Footpath 10, Wharfedale Drive, Normanton, and the likelihood of danger arising to the public, has made an Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of public footpath.
Alternative route for pedestrians: Along the back of Saunters Way, on the current footpath there will be a temporary walkway in place which will lead to the closed footway and then continue as usual. The order comes into operation on 19th November 2025 to 1st January 2026.
(CHIDSWELL LANE, OSSETT)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 353) 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds for works on Primrose Lane to excavate to install telecoms cable to link into existing telecoms apparatus as part of the fibre to the home scheme to be carried out as follows:
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Chidswell Lane, Ossett for approximately 114 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Chidswell Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Chidswell Lane, Pickering Lane, Owl Lane, Windsor Road, Chidswell Lane & vice versa.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 17th November 2025 to 19th November 2025, 08.00 hours to 18.00 hours, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
(OLD ROAD, FLOCKTON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 354) 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to install 10 metres telecoms duct to link into existing telecoms apparatus as part of the fibre to the home scheme to be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Old Road, Flockton from the junction of New Road to the junction of Old Road, Overton. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Old Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: New Road, Green Lane, Old Road & vice versa.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 20th November 2025 to 24th November 2025, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
