(TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the speed by vehicular traffic from 60 MPH down to 40 MPH on that section of the B6323 Ponteland Road from the entrance to Crescent Farm for a distance of 945 metres in a southerly direction in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 1st December 2025 until the 27th February 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be restricted from the 1st December 2025 until the 30th January 2026 at all times during this period.

The restriction has been requested by Northern Gas Networks to allow for gas mains replacement works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
