What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14

DEVON COUNTY COUNCIL (FOOTPATH No. 32, BARNSTAPLE) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council intends to make the above titled order. From: MONDAY 24th NOVEMBER 2025 To: SATURDAY 23” MAY 2026 No persons shall proceed on the section of the affected path except for access to land or premises on or adjacent to that length of path. Public right of way affected: FOOTPATH No. 32, BARNSTAPLE from the Long Bridge, heading North for approx. 50m.

The alternative route is via the outer perimeter of Bridge Chambers building. The closure is necessary to enable repair works to river wall. Further information may be obtained by contacting Public Rights of Way on 0345 155 1004.
