Notice Is Hereby Given that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Roeacre Street for its entire length.
(ii) Temporary prohibit vehicles from waiting at anytime along Roeacre Street for its entire length.
The Order is required to facilitate the installation of cables within the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 08:00 on the 17th November to 17:00 on the 19th November 2025.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Rochdale Road East, Green Lane & vice versa.

Notice Is Hereby Given that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to;
Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:-
i) L/Cpl Stephen Shaw MC Way – for its entire length.
ii) Hind Hill Street – from its junction with Bow Lane to its junction with L/Cpl Stephen Shaw MC Way.
Temporarily prohibit vehicles from waiting at anytime along: -
i) Bethel Street – the east side, for its entire length.
The Order is required to facilitate the safe holding of the Heywood Christmas Festival within the carriageway.
The part of this order relating to the prohibition of vehicles will be operative from 10:00 hours until 18:00 hours on 15th November 2024.
The part of this order relating to the prohibition of waiting at any time will be operative from 10:00 hours until 18:00 hours on 15th November 2024.
The alternative route for vehicles for the closure of L/Cpl Stephen Shaw MC Way will be via York Street, Hartley Street and vice versa.
The alternative route for vehicles for the closure of Hind Hill Street will be via Fox Street, Bethel Street, Moss Street, Bamford Road and Market Place.
(Oxendale Drive, Middleton)
(Temporary Prohibition Of Vehicles)
Order 2025
Notice Is Hereby Given that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Oxendale Drive from its junction with Broomfield Crescent for a distance of 25 metres in a south westerly direction.
The Order is required to facilitate the installation of a telecommunications pole.
The Order will be operative from 09.30 hours until 15:30 hours on 8th December 2025.
Access will be provided if required and safe to do so.
There is no alternative route for vehicles.
