What is happening?
THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF

(HURLEY LANE, BISHAM)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2025
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to:-
Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along this part of Hurley Lane from its junction with Footpath 20, Bisham to A404.
There is no diversion route available.
The purpose of the proposed Order is to facilitate works in the said road, namely to stop access onto National Highways network during a road closure and as a result there will be the likelihood of danger to the public.
The proposed Order shall come into operation from 21:00 hours on Thursday 4th December until 05:00 hours on Friday 5th December 2025 and shall continue in force for a period of eighteen months at such other periods as may be agreed, to allow for further necessary National Highways maintenance works at such times when signs as prescribed by the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are in place to indicate the said restrictions.
