What is happening?

30MPH TO 20MPH SPEED LIMIT SCHEME – VARIOUS ROADS

The Haringey (Moving Traffic Restrictions) (Amendment No.18) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey on 3rd November 2025 has made the above mentioned Order under sections 84 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

The general effect of order will be to implement a 20mph Speed Limit on the lengths of road detailed in the table below:

Great North Road N6/N2From a point outside the common boundary of No.2/4 Great North Road N6, northwest to the boundary with the London Borough of Barnet.
Ferry Lane N17From a point approximately 15 metres east of the junction with Station Road, east to the boundary with the London Borough of Waltham Forest.
Fortis Green N2/N10From its junction with Queens Avenue, west to the boundary with the London Borough of Barnet.
Lordship Lane N17From its junction with High Road N17 to its junction with Bruce Grove.
Lordship Lane N17/N22From a point outside No.80 Lordship Lane N17, west to its junction with High Road N22.
Muswell Hill N10From its junction with the Muswell Hill Broadway roundabout to its junction with Park Road/Priory Road.
Priory Road N8From its junction with Muswell Hill/Park Road to its junction with Middle Lane/High Street.
The Roundway N17From its junction with Walthoef Gardens to its junction with Lordship Lane.
Boreham Road N22From its junction with Lordship Lane to its junction with Westbury Avenue.
Westbury Avenue N22From its junction with Lordship Lane to its junction with High Road/Green Lanes.
Date of operation: The Orders will come into operation on 1st December 2025.

Further details: An appointment can be made, by emailing traffic.orders@haringey.gov.uk to inspect the Orders during normal office hours at the reception desk of Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, or can be viewed online at https://streets.appyway.com/haringey

once operational.

Application to the high court: Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it does not comply with the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
