Temporary Restriction of Vehicular Traffic Order 2025

Coton Road, Welling

Notice of Intention

1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that, to enable M Group Ltd on behalf of Thames Water to install a new water connection, they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:

• Prohibition of traffic on Coton Road from the junction with Upper Wickham Lane to No. 7 Coton Road, Welling

• Removal of the no entry restriction and one way restriction allowing two-way traffic from No 7 Coton Road to the junction with Edmund Road, Welling

2. The Order will come into effect on 24 November 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 4 days.

3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via:

Upper Wickham Lane, Bellegrove Road, Coton Road, and reverse.

4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic sign, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

5. The restriction described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Temporary Restriction of Vehicular Traffic Order 2025

James Watt Way, Erith

Notice of Making an Order

1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable highway improvement works by a Council contractor on behalf of London Borough of Bexley, the effects of which will be the introduction of:

• Prohibition of traffic traffic on James Watt Way, Erith, from the junction of Queens Road to the junction of Manor Road, Erith

Restriction to be removed when not required.

2. The Order will come into effect on 17 November 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 12 days.

3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be provided via:

Access to James Watt Way via Bridge Road, Erith

Bridge Road, Slade Green Road, Manor Road and reverse

Access to James Watt Way via Northern Road:

Travel north on Northern Road, take the 4th exit off the Tesco roundabout, south on Northern Road, Bridge Road, Slade Green Road and Manor Road

4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic sign, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

5. The restriction described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

• Prohibition of traffic on Newick Close, Bexley – entire road

• Prohibition of traffic on Cranleigh Close, Bexley – entire road

• Prohibition of traffic on Henfield Close, Bexley – entire road

• Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition on Newick Close, Bexley – entire road, both sides of the carriageway

• Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition on Cranleigh Close, Bexley – entire road, both sides of the carriageway

• Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition on Henfield Close, Bexley – entire road, both sides of the carriageway

2. The Order will come into effect on 24 November 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 127 days.

3. Whilst the works are in progress no diversion routes will be possible. Access for emergency services and residents is to be given when required.

4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

2. The Order will come into effect on 24 November 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 127 days.

3. Whilst the works are in progress an alternative route for Gravel Hill Close will be via:

Gravel Hill, Latham Road, Midhurst Road, Rochester Drive and reverse.

No diversion possible. Access for emergency services and residents to be given when required.

No diversion possible. Access for emergency services and residents to be given when required.

4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable JDT Utilities on behalf of Southern Gas Networks to undertake their Gas Mains Replacement works, the effects of which will be the introduction of:

• Prohibition of traffic on Brook Street, Erith from the junction with Belmont Road to the junction with York Terrace, Erith

• Prohibition of traffic on York Terrace from the junction with Brook Street to the junction with Becton Place, Erith

• Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition on Brook Street, Erith from the junction with Belmont Road to the junction with York Terrace, Erith (both sides of the carriageway)

• Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition on York Terrace from the junction with Brook Street to the junction with Becton Place, Erith (both sides of the carriageway)

2. The Order will come into effect on 17 November 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 3 weeks.

3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be provided via:

Diversion for Brook Street Erith

Bexley Road, Carlton Road, Brook Street and vice versa

Belmont Road, Bedonwell Road, Long Lane, Erith Road, Brook Street and vice versa

Diversion for York Terrace, Erith

Bexley Road, Carlton Road, Brook Street, Belmont Road, Becton Place and York Terrace

Belmont Road, Becton Place, York Terrace and vice versa

4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Notice of Making an Order

1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable the M Group on behalf of Thames Water to undertake their Water Mains Replacement works, the effects of which will be the introduction of:

• Prohibition of traffic on Rye Close – entire length of the road from the junction with Rochester Drive, Bexley, to the dead end.

• Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition entire length of the road from the junction with Rochester Drive, Bexley, to the dead end (both sides of the carriageway)

The Order will come into effect on 17 November 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 127 days.

3. Whilst the works are in progress, no alternative routes will be provided; however, access will be maintained for emergency vehicles and residents when required.

4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
