DYMA HYSBYSIAD bod Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Rhondda Cynon Taf wedi gwneud Gorchymyn o dan Adran 14 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984, fel y’i diwygiwyd gan Ddeddf Traffig Ffyrdd (Cyfyngiadau Dros Dro) 1991, a fydd yn para deunaw mis ar y mwyaf.
Mae angen cau’r ffordd er mwyn i BT Openreach gynnal gwaith gosod polion newydd.

Cau Ffordd Dros Dro:

Effaith y Gorchymyn fydd cau’r rhannau canlynol o ffyrdd:-

1. Y Stryd Ganol, Pen-y-graig – o’i chyffordd a Choedlan Ardmore i’w chyffordd â Stryd y Groes

2. Stryd y Groes, o ochr dde-orllewinol ei chyffordd â’r Stryd Ganol, tua’r gogledd-ddwyrain am bellter o 20 metr.

Llwybrau Amgen:

O ochr ogledd-orllewinol y rhannau sydd i’w cau, ewch ar hyd y lôn sydd y tu ôl i 1 i 11 Stryd yr Orsaf, Heol Hendrecafn, Heol Tyle-celyn a Stryd y Groes.

O ochr dde-ddwyreiniol y rhannau sydd i’w cau, ewch ar hyd Stryd y Groes, Heol Tyle-celyn, Heol Hendrecafn, Stryd yr Orsaf a Choedlan Ardmore.

Nodwch: Bydd mynediad ar gael i gerbydau trigolion Y Stryd Ganol, Stryd y Groes a Theras y Rheilffordd.

Bydd mynediad ar gael i gerbydau’r gwasanaethau brys, i gerddwyr ac ieiddo.

Mae disgwyl i’r ffordd fod ar gau rhwng y dyddiadau ac amseroedd canlynol neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi’i gwblhau: -

• Cau yn ystod y dydd rhwng 09:30am a 3:30pm ar 16 Tachwedd 2025

RHONDDA CYNON TAFF COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL
(MIDDLE STREET & CROSS STREET, PENYGRAIG) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council have made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, which will have a maximum duration of eighteen months.

The closure is necessary to facilitate pole replacement works for BT Openreach.

Temporary Road Closure:

The effect of the Order will be to close the following lengths of road:-

1. Middle Street, Penygraig – from its junction with Ardmore Avenue to its junction with Cross Street

2. Cross Street, from the south-western side of its junction with Middle Street, north-eastwards for a distance of 20 metres.

Alternative Routes:
From the north-western side of the closure, proceed via the lane to the rear of Nos 1-11 Station Street, Hendrecafn Road, Tylacelyn Road and Cross Street.

From the south-eastern side of the closure, proceed via Cross Street, Tylacelyn Road, Hendrecafn Road, Station Street and Ardmore Avenue.

NB: Vehicular access will be maintained for residents of Middle Street, Cross Street and Railway Terrace.

Access will be maintained for emergency services, pedestrians and to premises.

The closure is expected to be in operation between the following dates and times, or until such time as the works has been completed: -

• Daytime closure between 09:30am – 03:30pm on 16th November 2025
