Church Hill And Church Lane - Temporary Prohibition Of Waiting To Gas Mains Replacement Works
What is happening?
THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(CHURCH HILL AND CHURCH LANE, PLUMTREE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2025 (R25-273)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, in respect of roads at Plumtree in the Borough of Rushcliffe
The effects of the Order will be:
1. Vehicles are prohibited from waiting, loading and unloading in the following length of road at Plumtree in the Borough of Rushcliffe:-
Church Hill, Plumtree - (Both sides) (At all times) - From its junction with Main Road to its junction with Old Melton Road
Church Lane, Plumtree - (Both sides) (At all times) - From its junction with Church Hill in a north westerly direction for 150 metres
2. All existing permanent restrictions will be temporarily suspended as required.
3. The restrictions specified above shall only be in effect when the signs are in place.
IT IS INTENDED that the prohibitions respecting the above road or roads will apply as follows:
From 07:00 hours Monday 24th November 2025
Until 18:00 hours Friday 19th December 2025 inclusive.
AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that during the period of restriction the alternative route available will be:
No alternative route
The Order will come into force on 24th November 2025 and any prohibition in it shall apply on that day and any subsequent day when necessary to enable works to be carried out. The Order shall continue in force until the works are completed (within a maximum period of 18 months).
The prohibition is required to enable Cadent Gas to carry out Gas mains replacement works;
