St Michaels Hill - Temporary Prohibition of Traffic For Carriageway Resurfacing
What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (AS AMENDED) SECTION 14(2)
(ST MICHAELS HILL, SOHO & JEWELLERY QUARTER – 17094029)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that Birmingham City Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prevent any vehicle from entering Factory Road at its junction with St Michaels Hill.
The temporary Order is required to enable carriageway resurfacing.
An alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be signed on site.
Access to frontages will be maintained as necessary.
These prohibitions shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
The Order will come into operation on Saturday 22nd November 2025 and will remain in force for a period of 6 months or until the works are completed whichever is the earlier.
