High Road - Temporary Prohibition For Install Solar Power Panels

What is happening?

The Nottinghamshire County Council
(High Road, Chilwell)
(Temporary Prohibition Of Waiting) Order 2025 (BX25-192)

Notice Is Hereby Given that the Nottinghamshire County Council has made an Order, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, in respect of roads at Chilwell in the borough of Broxtowe.

The effects of the Order will be:

1. Vehicles are prohibited from waiting, loading and unloading (Northwest Side) (at any time) in the following length of road:
a. High Road, Chilwell (Parking Bay) - From its junction with Park Road in a north easterly direction for a distance of 30 metres.

2. All existing permanent restrictions will be temporarily suspended as required.

3. The restrictions specified above shall only be in effect when the signs are in place.

It Is Intended that the prohibitions respecting the above road or roads will apply as follows:
From 08:00 hours on Monday 17th November 2025
Until 16:00 hours on Monday 1st December 2025 inclusive.

The Order will come into force on 17th November 2025 and any prohibition in it shall apply on that day and any subsequent day when necessary to enable works to be carried out. 

The Order shall continue in force until the works are completed (within a maximum period of 18 months).

The prohibition is required to enable Geo Green Power to carry out works to install solar power panels.
