MANCHESTER CITY COUNCIL TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)

Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s): ORDER NO. MCC146562583: The City of Manchester (Pleasington Drive, Charlestown Ward)(Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2025 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Pleasington Drive From Lightbowne Road to its cul- de- sac- end.The alternative routes for traffic will be: Signed Locally). The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate Footway resurfacing . It is expected that the works will be in progress from 17th November 2025 to 21st November 2025. The order shall come into operation on 17th November 2025 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. ORDER NO. MCC146567544: The City of Manchester (East Grove, Ardwick Ward)(Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2025 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on East Grove From North grove to 23 East grove.The alternative routes for traffic will be:North grove,West grove,Carmoor Road. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate New water connection . It is expected that the works will be in progress from 17th November 2025 to 19th November 2025. The order shall come into operation on 17th November 2025 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Kevin Gillham.
