What is happening?
(WOODHILL ROAD, COLLINGHAM)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF
PROCEEDING) ORDER 2025 (N25-345)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire
County Council has made an Order, under Section 14(1)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, in
respect of roads at Collingham in the District of Newark
and Sherwood
The effects of the Order will be:
1. Vehicles are prohibited from proceeding in the
following length of road
a. Woodhill Road, Collingham & From its junction
with The Hemplands to its junction with Rio Drive.
2. All existing permanent restrictions will be temporarily
suspended as required.
3. The restrictions specified above shall only be in effect
when the signs are in place.
IT IS INTENDED that the prohibitions respecting the above
road or roads will apply as follows:
From 07:00 hours Tuesday 4th November 2025
Until 17:00 hours Friday 14th November 2025 inclusive.
AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that during
the period of restriction the alternative route available will
be:
Moor Road – Crew Road & Swinderby Road
– High Street and vice versa.
The Order will come into force on 4th November 2025
and any prohibition in it shall apply on that day and any
subsequent day when necessary to enable works to be
carried out. The Order shall continue in force until the
works are completed (within a maximum period of 18
months).
The prohibition is required to enable East Anglian Civils to
install a manhole;
